NATASHA FOROUZANNIA is a first-gen (Iranian/Panamanian) American TV/film writer, actor and filmmaker with a focus on projects that explore the American multicultural, Persian and immigrant experience.

She also explores stories and themes revolving around BIPOC, MENA, women, wellness/healing, sci-fi, consciousness, comedy, cannabis, mysticism, spirituality, friendship, family and self love.


Originally from Metro Detroit, Natasha has been an actor for over 9 years in Chicago and Los Angeles. Seen on TV shows like Empire, Chicago P.D. and Netflix’s Easy as well as the Emmy nominated web-series Brown Girls and Spike Lee’s Chiraq. She spent 2022 working as the Director’s Assistant to Sam Bailey on Marvel’s IRONHEART TV series to premiere on Disney+.

In Chicago, Natasha completed full comedy programs at The Second City and Improv Olympic (iO Chicago) for improv and writing. She has also performed Improv, The Harold and sketch comedy in almost all of Chicago’s comedy festivals and venues.

Her writing has won, placed and been officially selected in local and international festivals. Her long term goal is to wear a lot of different hats in the industry- from the creative side with acting, writing and directing to the business side with producing underrepresented voices.

With an immigrant Iranian Father and biracial (Panamanian/American) first gen Mother, Natasha’s personal passion is to highlight and support the multicultural/bicultural experience from a variety of angles via entertainment.  

Natasha’s goal is not only to entertain but to also expand the consciousness of her audience while being rooted in integrity, mindfulness and anti-racist values.

She is also a podcast/content producer, freelance designer/artist, creative director and has earned her B.A. Degree in Marketing from The Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University. She strives to encourage others to find their purpose, love themselves, heal themselves and love others without judgment.
